When repair makes sense
Repair is usually best when:
- Container structure is fundamentally sound
- Bottle is clear and undamaged
- Damage is limited to replaceable components
- UN certification is still valid
- Repair cost is less than 50% of replacement
- Specialty configuration is hard to replace
Most containers with valve, gasket, or minor cage damage are excellent candidates for repair. We'll advise honestly when repair makes sense versus replacement.
Replacement may be better when:
- Bottle has significant damage or staining
- Multiple major components need work
- Structural damage compromises safety
- UN certification is expired or invalid
- Repair cost approaches replacement cost
- Container has reached service life limits
We won't recommend repairs that don't make economic sense. If replacement is the better option, we'll tell you and can source suitable replacement containers.

Frequently asked questions
Can you repair any brand of IBC?
Yes, we service all major IBC brands. While valve styles and some components vary, our parts inventory and sourcing capability covers virtually all common configurations.
Do repairs affect UN certification?
Component replacements (valves, gaskets, pallets) generally don't affect UN certification. Structural repairs may require reassessment. We'll advise on certification implications.
Can I get just the parts to repair myself?
We focus on complete repair service rather than parts sales. However, for established accounts with in-house capabilities, we may be able to supply certain components.
What if you find additional issues during repair?
We contact you before proceeding with any work beyond the original quote. You'll have the option to approve additional repairs, decline, or receive the container back as-is.
Do you offer on-site repair services?
Currently, all repairs are performed at our facility. For large quantities, the economics usually favor shipping to us versus on-site service.
How do I know if my container is worth repairing?
Send us photos and a description. We'll provide a preliminary assessment of repair feasibility before you incur shipping costs. If in doubt, ask—we're happy to advise.
